The Salles lake is a new Carp center in France since 2014. It's a natural lake with larges bank of reeds, willows, alder.....This lake is have been made by monk there is more than 200 years. Monks were using fir this lake for fish production.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now I preserve this tradition, i'm farming for carps in the lake, and ponds on the area ; selecting fish, (color, shape, scales, growth...) to propose the best them for fishing.

 

The carps population haven't been caught many times. Depth is about 1m and 1.5m, the deepest zone 2.20m. is next to the 4th swim.

 

There are about 450 Carps, mainly commons and some mirors. A new population of fishs have been realase in the lake in 2014 autumn. Now the average is about 12 kg (25lbs) ; the biggest mirror is 27 kg (54 lbs) and the biggest common is 25 kg (48 lbs). Some of the mirrors are fully scaled.

You can find some Grass carps between 1 and 20 kg (0.450 to 25 lbs) and Silver carps.

If you're interested by pike fishing or withe fish, you can use another road.
There is only Carps, pikes, roachs, tench, perch.

No breams, No catfishs, No sturgeons, No Poison cat.
 

There are modern and NEW shower and toilet blocks on site, cleaned every week, plus a purpose built lodge where you can charge your phone, a fridge where you can put your baits in (and your beers!!) etc. There is also a small onsite shop in case you need any small items of tackle.

 

If you choose to have the food package you can have meals at the purpose built cabin and enjoy it at the outside picnic tables if the weather is nice, or take them back to your swims. Breakfast, lunch and dinner or any combination that you fancy. You can also order burgers and chips or just a sandwich, cold beer and drinks.

Please note all these options are to be paid directly to the bailiff in Euros.
